APPLICATION FOR ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT - 301 MCKAY ROAD WEST (WARD 7) (FILE: D30-017-2022)
Keith MacKinnon of KLM Planning Partners Inc. advised that the purpose of the Public Meeting is to review an Application for a Zoning By-law Amendment submitted by KLM Planning Partners Inc. on behalf of Watersand Construction Limited for lands known municipally as 30 McKay Road West, Barrie. The property is located within the Salem Secondary Planning Area.
Mr. MacKinnon discussed slides concerning the following topics:
• An aerial view of the subject and adjoining lands;
• The location of the subject lands within the Salem Secondary Planning Area and associated land designations;
• The proposed Zoning By-law Amendment;
• The conceptual Site Plan for the proposed development; and
• The studies completed for the applications.
Michelle Banfield, Director of Development Services provided an updated concerning the status of the application. She advised that the primary planning and land use matters are currently being reviewed by the Technical Review Team. Ms. Banfield discussed the anticipated timelines for the staff report regarding the proposed application.
Ward 7 Councillor, G. Harvey asked questions of Mr. MacKinnon and staff and received responses.
