Title: RECOGNITION OF THE 2015 SALVATION ARMY CHRISTMAS KETTLE CAMPAIGN. Major Doug Lewis of the Salvation Army's Barrie Bayside Mission announced that the 2015 Salvation Army Kettle Campaign is underway. He discussed the partnership with the City of Barrie and the County of Simcoe allows them to assist the less fortunate. Major Lewis advised that 31% of their annual financial requirements are funded through the Christmas Kettle Campaign, that runs through the month of December. He expressed his appreciation for the volunteers and the number of hours they dedicate to supporting the Salvation Army's causes. Major Lewis discussed how the funds raised support the Bayside Mission and other services that the Salvation Army provides to the community. He noted that all funds that are raised in the City of Barrie are used towards programs at the Bayside Mission and highlighted the programs and services provided at the Mission.
