Title: BRADFORD ROADWAY CROSS-SECTION Brett Gratrix, Transportation Planning Lead provided an update on various discussions and feedback received from a recent Public Information Centre (PIC), such as creating an urban streetscape rather than a suburban streetscape, two-lane options, a spring PIC to present results of planning alternatives, better cycling infrastructure, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Mr. Gratrix further discussed the Federal Government's ban with respect to internal combustible vehicles by 2035, and the alternatives to roundabouts and the conventional intersection. The Committee continued discussions on the two-lane options, roundabouts, heavy traffic, pedestrian and cyclist safety, bicycle lanes, and internal combustible vehicle ban. Members of the Committee asked questions of Mr. Gratrix and received responses.
