That motion 24-G-243 of Section E of the General Committee Report dated November 13, 2024, be amended by deleting paragraph 1 and replacing it with the following:

 

That the Key Performance Indicators for Council’s 2022-2026 Strategic Plan be amended as follows:

 

Under Community Safety:

By adding the KPI - Reduction in crash rate for highest-rating intersections and road segments

 

By adding the KPI - Implementation of Community Safety and Well-Being Plan (% Implementation)

 

By removing KPI - Number of code inspections

 

Under Infrastructure Investments:

By adding the KPI Infrastructure capital plan amount approved, and amount spent (actual capital spending as a % of total budget)

 

By reporting the KPI related to total kilometres of paving for “new road lanes” separately from reconstruction and resurfacing

 

Under Responsible Governance:

By adding the KPI Total cost avoidance associated with continuous improvement initiatives.

Upon question of the original motion moved by Councillor, AM. Kungl and seconded by Councillor, N. Nigussie the matter was CARRIED AS AMENDED BY AMENDMENT #1.
