Title: Carey deGorter, Deputy City Clerk, called upon Safana Raza of Mapleview Heights Elementary School and Shane Fujioka of St. Mary’s Catholic School to be sworn into office as Student Mayors. After being sworn into office, Safana and Shane assumed their seats on the dais beside Mayor Lehman. Dawn McAlpine, City Clerk, introduced the members of City Council and City staff to Safana and Shane. She noted that representatives of the community’s media were also in attendance.
