RECOGNITION OF THE 2019 BUSINESS ACCESSIBILITY AWARD RECIPIENTS
Mayor Lehman called upon Catherine Kenwell, Chair and Doug Taylor, member of the Accessibility Advisory Committee to approach the podium for the recognition of the 2019 Business Accessibility Award recipients. Mr. Taylor recognized the efforts of the local businesses that have made exceptional strides to improve accessibility and provide inclusiveness for the community.
Mayor Lehman, Ms. Kenwell and Mr. Taylor called upon the following 2019 Business Accessibility Awards recipients to approach the podium to receive their Certificates:
* Homestead Artisan Bakery Caf?; and
* Sobeys Barrie.
Mayor Lehman expressed his appreciation to the award recipients for providing a thoughtful approach to improving accessibility in the City of Barrie. Mayor Lehman recognized the members of the Accessibility Advisory Committee and thanked them for their efforts.
