Title: OPEN DELEGATION BY SCOTT BONDY - SUMP PUMP DRAINAGE HOOK UP Mr. S. Bondy provided an open delegation regarding the drainage around his home. Mr. Bondy indicated that he is addressing the Committee to ask to have the sump pump connected to drain into the storm sewer at 111 Monarchy Street. Mr. Bondy reviewed the steps that he has taken to date to try and rectify the drainage problem, including a completion of a Mike Holmes inspection, hiring a structural engineer, and contacting the builder of his home, Baywood Homes. Mr. Bondy noted that he has not been able to reach Baywood Homes as they are no longer in business. He discussed that many of the homes in the neighbourhood have their sump pumps drain into the sanitary sewer system. He indicated that he feels the adjacent lots to his property drain into his backyard and that he believes the slopes and swales in his backyard are inadequate. The members of the Committee provided comments and asked a number of questions related to the information provided and received responses from the presenter and staff. The Committee members asked staff to review the grading of Mr. Bondy’s property after the works under Taron’s direction have been completed.
