DEBRIEF REGARDING THE 2018 HERITAGE BARRIE AWARDS CEREMONY
The Committee discussed the Heritage Barrie Award Presentation held at the City Council meeting on November 26, 2018. T. Wierzba, Planner noted that a total of five 2018 Heritage Barrie Awards were presented in the following categories: group, residential homes, commercial and institutional heritage properties.
The Committee approved payment of the following expenses to be charged to the Heritage Barrie Committee Account for costs incurred for the 2018 Heritage Barrie Awards:
• Food, beverages and supplies in the amount of $241.13 (Account 01-06-0934-0000-3070);
• Retina Photo for digital prints in the amount of $500.00 (Account 01-06-0934-0000-3190); and
• Inspired by Art for the framing of five prints in the amount of $1,638.50 (Account 01-06-0934-0000-3190).
The Committee briefly discussed the nomination process for 2019 Heritage Barrie Awards and agreed that the nomination period should be extended to run from June 1, 2019 to August 31, 2019.
