Wierzba, Planner provided an update regarding a research project partnership with fourth year planning students at the University of Waterloo to explore ways to mitigate the tension between balancing heritage protection and growth pressures within the City of Barrie. Mr. Wierzba noted that seven Heritage Barrie Committee Members participated in the University of Waterloo's survey. Mr. Wierzba noted that the University of Waterloo student researchers will be providing a presentation to the City of Barrie's Planning and Building Services staff and to the Heritage Barrie Committee on April 8, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
