Ms. Banfield discussed slides concerning the following topics: * The Salem and Hewitt's Secondary Plan Area projected growth between 2016-2031; * A comparison of the structure and population of the City between 2031 and 2041; * The collaboration between departments related to development in the City; * The Information Technology Department resources used to support the development review process; * Mapping and imaging available to support development related processes in the City of Barrie; * A comparison of population density and associated service costs; * Highlights of the progress of development in the Salem and Hewitt's Secondary Plan Area; and * The current and future milestones associated with Growth Management in the City. Members of the Committee asked and numbers of questions of City staff and received responses.
