AMENDMENT TO THE COUNCIL AND COMMITTEE CODE OF CONDUCT

1. That Section 24.5 of the Council and Committee Member Code of Conduct be amended to read as follows:
“An organization, Employee, Member or member of the public having reasonable grounds to believe that a member has breached this Code, may proceed with a complaint. Complaints must be submitted no more than six months after the alleged violation occurring. No action will be taken on a complaint received beyond these deadlines.”
2. That the amendment to the Council and Committee Member Code of Conduct come into effect _________.

That the Direct Motion concerning the Amendment of the Council and Committee Code of Conduct be amendment at the end of paragraph 2 be inserting the word “today” after the word “effect”.
