Mr. Gray advised that he hoped to clarify any misunderstandings that Council may have regarding a proposed indoor gun range at 342 King Street. He explained that during his presentation to the Finance and Corporate Services Committee on February 23, 2021, and in his excitement of wanting to get out as much information to the Committee as possible, that he was not clear and in stating that two members of the local police force were not monetary partners or investors within the business. Roger Gray on behalf of Gun Linx provided a Deputation regarding motion 21-A-060 concerning a Request for an Exemption from Regulatory By-law 2010-036 as amended to Permit an Indoor Gun Range at 342 King Street.

Mr. Gray advised that he hoped to clarify any misunderstandings that Council may have regarding a proposed indoor gun range at 342 King Street. He explained that during his presentation to the Finance and Corporate Services Committee on February 23, 2021, and in his excitement of wanting to get out as much information to the Committee as possible, that he was not clear and in stating that two members of the local police force were not monetary partners or investors within the business. Mr. Gray advised that at one time they were thinking about it, and that the two members of the local police force might be open to teaching at the club. He noted that his intention was to imply that they may be partners in the teaching aspect of the club, and that this was a misunderstanding, hoping that nobody got in any trouble, and that he wanted to rectify that. Mr. Gray further advised that he was trying to get as much information as possible to Council members as he believes that the business is a very viable and exciting opportunity.

Mr. Gray advised that he ran out of time during the last meeting when he spoke and was unable to answer Councillor Harvey's question about his background. He advised that he currently owns a driving range in Wasaga Beach, that he had owned and operated the Sands Golf Course in Wasaga Beach for 10 years and was recently a Facilities Director at CFB Borden.
