Title: COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT UPDATE Police Chief, K. Greenwood provided an outline of a Community Perspectives Project initiative undertaken by the Barrie Police Service, and that would also support the development of Barrie's next Community Safety Well-Being Plan. Police Chief, K. Greenwood provided an outline of a Community Perspectives Project initiative undertaken by the Barrie Police Service, and that would also support the development of Barrie’s next Community Safety Well-Being Plan. She noted that the Community Perspectives Project will also support the work of Collaborate Barrie and Connected Core.

Chief Greenwood advised that in accordance with Barrie Police Service, they are willing to engage with MASS LBP regarding the Community Needs Assessment, and that they will be while seeking offsetting funds through Provincial Grants.

 

The Committee provided their feedback to Chief Greenwood regarding the Community Perspectives Project and the development of the Barrie’s Community Safety Well-Being Plan.
