Title: EAST BAYFIELD COMMUNITY CENTRE AND ST. VINCENT PARK PLAYGROUND REVITILIZATION Kevin Bradley, Manager of Parks and Forestry provided an update concerning the revitalization to the existing childcare space at the East Bayfield Community Centre Park. He described the location of the park, the plans to incorporate more accessible elements into the park including a wheelchair swing and the tentative timelines for construction. Mr. Bradley provided an update concerning the revitalization of St. Vincent Park and Playground He explained that St. Vincent Park is classified by the City of Barrie as a waterfront park. He described the age and location of the existing park including plans to design a fully accessible park. 

 

Mr. Bradley advised that there will be a public process related to the revitalization of St. Vincent Park which includes an online survey and Public Information Centre scheduled for February 6, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.

 

The Committee asked a number of questions of Mr. Bradley related to East Bayfield Community Park and St. Vincent Park.
