• Title: NATIONAL ACCESSABILITY WEEK Cheryl Dillon, Disability Management and Accessibility Specialist provided a historical background concerning National AccessAbility Week. Ms. Dillon advised that a proclamation has been prepared to proclaim the week of May 29th to June 4th, 2022 as National AccessAbililty Week. The Committee discussed ideas for events to recognize National AccessAbility Week such as "Who's Missing Installation regarding the impact of COVID". Ms. Dillon noted that in person events have not resumed but that there is the potential for a virtual event. She suggested that the Committee plan a flag raising and also have information posted on the City's website and social media concerning accessibility. Ms. Dillon advised that she would explore options and will coordinate a flag raising date with the staff in the Mayor(s) Office for National AccessAbility Week, and will report back to the Committee.
