Title: CITY UPDATES Jason Forgrave, Supervisor of Enforcement Services discussed calls concerning yard maintenance and the seven new Municipal Law Enforcement I Officers being proactive in completing the yard maintenance complaints. Mr. Forgrave indicated that there are six summer students that were recruited to assist with the enforcement of by-laws at the waterfront. Mike Gallagher, Zoning Officer indicated that the spring season has increased in the number of calls due to spring projects being completed, such as widening of driveways and installing sheds or fences. Mr. Gallagher discussed connecting with staff at Georgian College regarding rooming houses for student education. Mike Winn, Barrie Police Services discussed their attendance at the International Students Day to interact with and educate students. Mr. Winn indicated that officers from their Recruiting Services, Auxiliary Officers, Citizens on Patrol, and Staff Sergeant Linda Moorhouse were all in attendance to answer quest...
