Margaret Montgomery of Kempenfelt Bay School thanked members of City Council and City staff for the opportunity to participate in the Student Mayor Program. She thanked her classmates for electing her to the position. Margaret expressed her appreciation for the patience and assistance offered by Councillor Nuttall and other members of Council. She stated that she learned a great deal about debating issues and noted that it was an opportunity she would never forget.
Mayor Lehman presented Margaret with a certificate commemorating her term of office as Student Mayor and thanked Margaret for her participation in the Student Mayor Program.
