TMP-29674 1  Discussion ItemPROMOTING HERITAGE a) USE OF VIDEOGRAPHER Tomasz Wierzba, Planner advised that staff in Access Barrie have been obtaining quotes on videographer services and that quotes are ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. The Committee discussed the benefits of using a videographer to promote heritage in Barrie and provided suggestions of where a videographer can be used. b) IMAGES FOR DISPLAY BOARDS Tomasz Wierzba, Planner advised that decisions still need to be made related to images for display boards. TMP-29671 1  Discussion ItemHERITAGE CONSERVATION DISTRICTS Tomasz Wierzba, Planner discussed the Heritage Conservation Districts and surveying other municipalities. Mr. Wierzba provided an example of a heritage conservation district located in Maple Ontario entitled “Maple Heritage Conservation District”. He indicated that, within the districts, the consultant would complete a detailed on-site study, write policies including the types of buildings and locations. The Committee provided feedback to Mr. Wierzba and agreed that research should be completed regarding heritage conservations districts for the municipality.Received  Action details Not available
