14-A-037 2  Student/Mayor ItemCOMMENTS FROM OUTGOING STUDENT MAYORS Joseph Ain of Kempenfelt Bay School commented that he found his experience to be an enlightening opportunity to see how government works, how issues are debated and issues resolved. Joseph noted he has a better understanding of the hard work and effort that the Mayor, Councillors and City staff put into their jobs. He noted that he enjoyed his term as Student Mayor and recommended that other ambitious students who are interested in politics to take the opportunity to participate in the program, if possible. In closing, Joseph thanked the students at Kempefelt Bay School, his teacher, Ms. Wells and his parents for inspiring him. He also expressed his appreciation to City Council for providing such an amazing opportunity for students like him.
