TMP-34207 2  Discussion Item2025 WORK PLAN The Committee discussed the following matters listed on the 2025 Work Plan: Open Air Dunlop/Barrie Farmers Market Craig Froese circulated a sign-up sheet for volunteers the Committee booth at Open Air Dunlop and Barrie Farmers Market events. The Committee approved an expenditure of $75.00 from the Heritage Barrie Committee budget to register a booth at the Downtown Business Improvement Association (BIA) Open Air Dunlop event scheduled for July, 2025. Heritage Barrie Award The Committee discussed revamping the Heritage Barrie Awards, including criteria, timelines, nomination process, and forms. The Committee provided suggestions for criteria for the awards, such as cultural heritage, built heritage, natural heritage, people who inspire preservation, and education Camille Prospero will research other municipalities concerning their criteria for celebrating and recognizing heritage in their communities.
