23-A-002 2  DeputationDEPUTATION CONCERNING MOTION 23-G-005, SECOND REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY NOISE EXEMPTION AT 37 JOHNSON STREET, BARRIE FOR FRAM + SLOKKER (WARD 1) BY THE FOLLOWING: 1. Len Savella provided a deputation concerning the second request for a temporary noise exemption for 37 Johnson Street. Mr. Savella advised that his property faces the backside of the development and that he strongly opposes the temporary noise exemption. He provided a brief background of the development opposed by the residents, and the application for Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment denied by Barrie City Council and then approved by the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT). Mr. Savella indicated that noise from the development has impacted his family’s lifestyle and those of neighbouring properties. He explained that mature trees were removed from the property that could have helped buffer the noise.
