Chair, Councillor, AM. Kungl provided an update concerning the 2025 Communities in Bloom Program, including opportunities to showcase the community. Councillor Kungl and Mona Boyd, Horticulture Foreperson, outlined the itinerary for the judges' visit from July 22 to July 24, 2025.
Councillor Kungl provided an overview of the criteria for the 2025 Communities in Bloom Healthier Livable Cities category. The Committee members provided their feedback to Councillor Kungl.

Chair, Councillor, AM. Kungl provided an update concerning the Committee’s budget. She indicated that the Committee's budget will be allocated to support the 2025 Communities in Bloom Program, which includes registration fees, hosting the judges, and sending a delegation to represent the City of Barrie at the Communities in Bloom Symposium in Stratford, Ontario, in October 2025. Further discussion will take place at the next meeting concerning the Committee’s budget and expenditures related to the 2025 Communities in Bloom Program. | | |
