Tammy Banting, Manager of Enforcement Services and Bryan Keene, Supervisor of Enforcement Services, discussed slides concerning the following topics:
· Background information related to staff, community engagement, enforcement, and regulation of policy and procedure development;
· Responsible for the following final enforcement:
o Parking;
o Private property parking;
o Animal control;
o Business licencing;
o Sign regulations;
o Parks;
o Property standards/yard maintenance;
o Regulatory matters, for example fireworks, discharge of firearms, lawn watering etc.;
o Tree cutting and preservation; and
o Provincial regulations enforcement, for example AGCO/OLG lottery licensing, Dog Owners Liability Act, Pitbull Control Regulations etc.
· Information related to general patrol hours, live answer availability, afterhours message bank and priority sequences.
Members of Committee asked a number of questions to the presenters and received responses.
