TMP-16468 2  Item of DiscussionINVESTIGATION - SHIPPING CONTAINERS FOR USE AS BUILDINGS, BUILDING ADDITIONS AND ACCESSORY STRUCTURES The Committee met and discussed the memorandum from S. Naylor, Director of Planning Services dated June 8, 2016 regarding Shipping Containers for Use as Buildings, Building Additions and Accessory Structures. A. Gameiro, Zoning Administrative Officer, provided an overview concerning the investigations to date related to the use of shipping containers as building, building additions and accessory structures. Members of the Committee asked several questions related to the information provided and received responses from City staff. Staff advised that they would be reporting back to the Committee with pros and cons that could be presented at a Public Meeting for part of an amendment to both the Zoning By-law and Site Plan Control By-law to incorporate possible regulations for shipping containers. TMP-16564 1  Item of DiscussionRED SIGNAL/LIGHT CAMERA PRESENTATION Ms. Dawn McAlpine, City Clerk/Director of Legislative and Court Services provided a presentation regarding Red Signal/Light Cameras. Ms. McAlpine explained that Mr. Dave Friary, Director of Roads, Parks and Fleet, Mr. Steve Rose, Manager of Traffic and Parking Services, Mr. Rodger Bates, Manager of Court Services and Mr. Tom Hanrahan, Supervisor of Traffic and Parking Services worked together as a team to investigate the feasibility of implementing Red Light Cameras.
