Daniella Falconer Graham of Innisdale Secondary discussed her experience as Student Mayor and highlighted that during her time in office she was fortunate to attend short meetings. Her advice to future Student Mayors is that even though the oath of office may be very technical to read, the Student Mayor experience is very rewarding. Daniella thanked everyone for their support. Mayor A. Nuttall thanked Daniella for her time in serving the City of Barrie and presented her with a certificate commemorating her time as Student Mayor.

Tracy Macdonald, Deputy City Clerk called upon Kenshin Rivera, representing Monsignor Clair Catholic Elementary School to be sworn into office as Student Mayor. After being sworn into office, Kenshin assumed his seat next to Mayor Nuttall.

Mayor Nuttall recognized and congratulated Anna Goldsmith, Maya McNair and Delilah Johnstone on winning the North American Teachers of Singing (NATS) competition. Mayor Nuttall provided highlights of both the NATS competition in Ontario and US. Mayor Nuttall highlighted the significant accomplishments for Anna, Maya and Delilah, the thousand of hours of practice, hard work, dedication and the support received from their teachers and parents.
Mayor Nuttall presented certificates to Anna Goldsmith and Maya McNair. Mayor Nuttall presented a certificate to Margo Hamilton on behalf of Delilah Johnstone.
