TMP-23644 1  Staff Report OPEN DELEGATION FROM VERONICA SILVA CONCERNING A COLLAPSED PIPE REPAIR ON CITY PROPERTY LOCATED ON COMMONWEALTH ROAD Dave Friary, Director of Roads, Parks and Fleet provided background information related to policy changes for sewer lateral connection ownership that became effective on June 25, 2018. Mr. Friary discussed slides concerning the following topics: · An overview on the Sewer Lateral Replacement Grant; · A picture illustrating a Sanitary Lateral Layout; · The background information related to City policies associated with homeowner responsibilities for maintenance, repairs and replacement of the sanitary lateral; · A chart illustrating the costs associated with the 2018 - 2019 Sanitary Replacements; and · The replacement process for sanitary lateral repairs and/or replacements. Mr. Friary advised that a report and memorandum was considered and approved by Council on June 25, 2018 concerning the Pilot Project for the Sanitary Lateral Replacements Grant.
