D. Morrison outlined the Global Perspectives Program and informed the Committee that it is difficult to attract participants to the China program. He noted that he is willing to consider students from grades 9-11.
D. Morrison noted that the selection process has been completed for the 2013 Global Perspectives program, and most post-secondary schools are represented. He commented that he will be hosting a presentation during parents’ night at Innisdale Secondary School, in the cafeteria on March 27, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. regarding the Global Perspectives Program.
The Committee met and discussed the status of the Youth Ambassador visits as follows:
Taizhou, China
D. Morrison reported that the contacts in Taizhou are happy to receive the Canadian delegation. He noted that Debbie and Eddie Ing will be chaperoning the trip.
Zweibrücken, Germany
