TMP-28065 2  Discussion ItemBARRIE INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS WEBSITE Ciaran Byles-Ho provided an update on the Barrie International Partners website and a live demonstration of the site. He advised that final revisions are being made and then will be forwarded to staff in Information Technology Department for their review and input. John Mastroianni, Supervisor of Enterprise Applications advised that the website looks great in his opinion and that he will be working with staff in Human Resources to ensure it meets the standards under the Accessibility with Ontarians Disabilities Act and City Policies. Mr. Morrison requested permission from the International Relations Committee’s Sub-Committee Chairs to add their contact information on the Barrie International Partners website and received responses from the Chair’s in attendance at the meeting. Mr. Morrison advised that he had provided members of Council with a preview of the Barrie International Partners website and received positive feedback. Mr. Morrison anticipates the website to be completed by November, 2021 and launched in January, 2022.Received  Action details Not available
TMP-28064 2  Discussion ItemCOMMITTEE BUDGET UPDATE Dave Morrison, Chair and Tammie Maynard, Committee Support Clerk provided an update concerning the Committee’s budget. He reminded the Committee members to submit their International Relations Committee expenditures prior to December 31, 2021. The Committee approved the balance of the honorarium payment in the amount of $1500.00 to be paid to Ciaran Byles-Ho upon the completion of the Barrie’s International Partners website and includes any updates to meet the standards of the Accessibility with Disabilities with Ontarians (AODA) Act and City Policies. Mr. Morrison advised that he will notify staff in the Legislative and Court Services Department when the website has been completed to process the payment for Mr. Byles-Ho. The Committee discussed the possibility of purchasing the airfare tickets in 2021 for the adult delegation to travel to Zweibrücken, Germany in May, 2022 to celebrate the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the twinning relationship between the two Municipalities.
