Nathan Jankowski of Pattison Outdoor Advertising provided a deputation on behalf of Metrolinx concerning motion 23-G-239 concerning the Request for Exemption Sign By-law 2018-029 for 833 Yonge Street. He commented that the request is to reduce the setback for a single-sided ground sign at the Barrie South GO Station. DEPUTATION BY NATHAN JANKOWSKI OF PATTISON OUTDOOR ADVERTISING REGARDING MOTION 23-G-239, REQUEST FOR EXEMPTION FROM SIGN-BY-LAW 2018-029 - 833 YONGE STREET (WARD 9).

                     An illustration depicting the proposed sign location in relation to City property; and

                     A copy of a legal opinion by Municipal Act expert John Mascarin of Aird and Berlis regarding committee/council decisions and setting a precedent.

 

Members of Council asked questions to Mr. Jankowski and City staff and received responses.
